Abstract

The full numerical solution of 3D radiative transfer problems including scattering is a computationally extremely demanding task due to the 6D nature of the basic ingredients of the path to the solution. I will present the 3DRT framework that we have developed to solve 3D RT problems in Cartesian, cylindrical and spherical coordinate systems and show a number of selected results.
