General Informations

Due to limited room in the conference room, the number of participants is limited to 60 persons.

Thanks to our sponsors, there is no conference fees. However, we ask a contribution if you attend the conference dinner or the social event.

Conference Registration

The FCA 2010 conference is managed with ConfTool. This concerns: registration to the conference, participation to social events and submission of abstracts for a contributed talk or a poster. The registration process is as follow:

* Register as a new user on the ConfTool page of the conference (link "Register new"). Please fill the requested fields (marked with *) and create your account using your favorite login/password. You should receive a confirmation email after a short time (if this is not the case, contact us: fca2010lyon@gmail.com ). If everything went fine you should now be logged in the system.

* From the main menu you will be able to update your personnal informations, submit a contribution and register to the conference. Click on "Register as Participant" to register to the conference. Please choose whether you want to participate to the conference dinner and social event. If you have any remarks or requests (e.g. vegetarian meal), please write them in the "miscallaneous" window. Once you have confirmed your registration, you should receive a confirmation email (if this is not the case, contact us: fca2010lyon@gmail.com ).

N.B. Invited speakers should also register.

Contributions

Invited speakers (see participants) at the forefront of computational astrophysics, numerical analysis, and engineering will provide talks of 40 minutes. In addition, we ask the community to apply for contributed talks (20 minutes) and posters. We can accept 15 contributed talks. We ask in particular PhD-students and young post-doctoral fellows in computational astrophysics to participate and provide contributed talks.

Whether you are an invited speaker or if you want to submit an oral or poster contribution, please submit an abstract using the "Submit Contribution" link from the main menu of your conftool account. Please indicate if your abstract concerns an invited talk, a contributed talk or a poster. Confirm your submission by clicking on the "Save Submission, Upload File(s) Later" button. The submitted contribution should appear in your login page (if this is not the case, contact us: fca2010lyon@gmail.com ). Please submit your abstract before May 31. You will be notified on acceptance by June 30.
